Poet at Heart
15 year old Devansh Dewra, a student of Don Bosco Park Circus is known more as a Little Thinker amongst adults and a nerd amongst his friends. His passion for the written word is unparalleled. The bibliophile lives in the world of philosophy, fantasy and fiction which is the driving force that nurtured his creativity.
In 2020, Devansh was adjudged as the 2nd runner up in the prestigious Royal Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition organized by the officials of Her Majesty's office. His adolescent self experiences floods of emotions as it attempts to negotiate between the utopia in his mind and reality and this was what drove him to poetry. He has been published in many national and international anthologies and has performed in Apeejay Kolkata Literary Fest, Chair Poetry Evenings, Poetry Paradigm Festivals and was awarded with the honour of a Kavi Salam, in 2018. In 2019 he had recited his poem 'O Calcutta' before the Honourable Governor of West Bengal at The Raj Bhavan and was highly appreciated.
Devansh is a positive soul who looks for silver linings and as the pandemic took over the world he began devoting more time towards his writing. This book is a poetic accumulation of his philosophy of life, collected in the tranquility of solitude that 2020 presented us.

"Writing is the geometry of the soul"
